Ullensvang municipality shall enter into a contract for the procurement of a new harbour boat, which shall be delivered to the current stand-by requirements and shall be operated by transport and emergency along the sea road. The boat is scheduled to enter the regional emergency structure in Hardanger, including the aim of being able to be used by other public actors. The vessel is intended as a multi-purpose resource that will cover several municipal contractors, such as ISPS control, harbour inspections, infrastructure, landslide and inspections. The need is prepared in cooperation between fire and rescue, emergency and roads, park and harbour.

Price, Delivery time, Equipment and quality in addition to the specifications, Port authority has considered using climate and environment as the award criterion with a minimum of 30% weighting, cf. the Public Procurement Act § 5 b. It has been assessed that, for this concrete procurement, it is not appropriate to weight climate and the environment as the award criteria, cf. § 5b third paragraph. The boat shall be functioned as a emergency boat in the event of landslides, avalanches and other acute crisis situations. The objective of the vessel require absolute reliability, immediate commitment ability, high speed, long range and ability to operate under the demanding weather. Safety for life and health as well as crisis treatment must prioritise unpaid. Currently battery and zero slip technology in this vessel class makes escapes in range, charging lift, operational safety lift and weight/capacity. With a emergency disposal, the boat can go containers for many hours purposes to charge. A reindeer zero-slip boat will carry out a risk for the operative stand-by.
