Description
Dans le cadre du projet de liaison Seine-Escaut en Wallonie, il est prévu la création de zones de croisement sur la Sambre pour les bateaux de Classe CEMT Va (bateaux de 110 m x 11,4 m, 2000 t), et l’adaptation des bassins de virement pour les rendre accessibles à ces bateaux. Divers travaux subséquents sont également prévus.
