Αντικείμενο της Σύμβασης αποτελεί η Παροχή υπηρεσιών για την παρακολούθηση συγκεκριμένων ομάδων εντόμων επικονιαστών, όπως Λεπιδόπτερα (πεταλούδες, νυχτοπεταλούδες), Υμενόπτερα (μοναχικές μέλισσες) και Δίπτερα (συρφίδες) για τη συλλογή δεδομένων στο πλαίσιο της εφαρμογής του Κανονισμού (EE) 2024/1991 για την Αποκατάσταση της Φύσης και την τροποποίηση του κανονισμού (ΕΕ) 2022/869 και ακολουθώντας τη μεθοδολογία του Κατ’ Εξουσιοδότηση Κανονισμού (ΕΕ) 2025/2188, για τη συμπλήρωση του κανονισμού (ΕΕ) 2024/1991 του Ευρωπαϊκού Κοινοβουλίου και του Συμβουλίου, με τη θέσπιση επιστημονικά τεκμηριωμένης μεθόδου για την παρακολούθηση της ποικιλότητας και των πληθυσμών εντόμων επικονιαστών εντός της πρώτης περιόδου αξιολόγησης.
