Description

EOS Energi AS invites tenderers, on behalf of the contracting authority KKH, including Alver, Austevoll, Austrheim, Fedje, Masfjorden, Osterøy and Samnanger municipalities to an open tender competition for the procurement of electricity for the municipalities ́ total construction portfolio. The contract is for the delivery of electricity to installations in accordance with the attached site overviews. * Expected volume: 53 GWh/annum * Number of measuring points: 1,155 (in accordance with the current site overview). * Network owner: Ref. site overview The delivery includes: · physical power delivery · spot based power contract with an option for price assurance for all or parts of the volume in the contract period. · joint billing of the network charge · web portal with consumption data, invoices and meter information.

How the award is decided

Price, The contracting authority addresses climate and environmental considerations through minimum requirements set out in the qualification criteria and the specification, and requires documented energy mix, climate data and guarantees of origin when relevant. Climate and environment are therefore not used as an award criterion. The contracting authority has chosen to use requirements rather than award criteria because this provides a better and more predictable climate effect in the power market, where all suppliers operate within the same Nordic power system and award criteria do not result in any real difference in climate outcomes. This is in line with DFØ’s guidance, section 6.1.
