Description

I Norge måles luftkvaliteten en rekke steder for å overvåke nivåene av luftforurensning. Forurensningsforskriften kapittel 7 om lokal luftkvalitet stiller krav til kvaliteten på luftkvaliteten utendørs, og stiller også en rekke krav til hvordan luftkvalitetsmålinger skal foregå. Et organ med en viktig rolle for å sikre kvaliteten på luftkvalitetsmåledataene er nasjonalt referanselaboratorium for luftkvalitetsmålinger (NRL). NRL er et uavhengig organ med hovedformål om å ivareta og sikre kvaliteten på måledataene. NRL-rollen er forskriftsfestet i forurensningsforskriften kapittel 7 (§ 7-7 og § 7-14).
