Description

Services Velindre University NHS Trust is seeking to procure a specialist supplier to design and develop a World Model for Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) delivery in support of the transition to the new Velindre Cancer Centre. The model will support strategic planning and operational decision-making by providing enhanced visibility of patient demand, treatment capacity, workforce requirements and service delivery across the cancer network. The requirement forms part of the wider transformation programme for cancer services and will support the development of sustainable, data-driven treatment pathways, ensuring patients receive timely access to care whilst maximising available resources. The successful supplier will be expected to provide expertise in healthcare modelling, data integration, analytics and stakeholder engagement to develop a solution that supports forecasting, capacity planning and continuous service improvement. The anticipated contract commencement date is 1 January 2027, with the contract expected to run for an initial period of 12 months.

Evaluation will be based on the overall cost of delivering the World Model for SACT Delivery in accordance with the requirements set out in the procurement documents, ensuring value for money over the contract term.
