How the award is decided

Price, Quality Assurance - Senior Security Consultant Palo Alto Networks, Quality - Senior Security Consultant Extreme Networks, This is a procurement of a framework agreement for network equipment from "Extreme Networks", and it shall primarily procure network equipment that shall be delivered, as well as consultancy services. The climate and environmental impact of the procurement is primarily related to transport of hardware from local suppliers and climate gas emissions and the use of resources connected to the production of hardware and energy use from data use in the development of software licences. Since it has been given which software and licences shall be purchased, the products/licences themselves will not potentially have different climate and environmental impact - therefore a competition will not have the potential to reduce the climate and environmental impact of products and licences. The framework agreement also involves transport to Statsbygg ́s headquarters from the local supplier, and the requirement thereof is set at 100% emission free, which is the best one can achieve and any competition for transport will therefore not give a better environmental effect. In total there is no potential for further reductions in climate and environmental impact by the use of award criteria in this procurement.
