How the award is decided

Price, Risk and strategy document, Plan for implementation and start-up, Competence and experience for key personnel., The contracting authority safeguards climate and the environment through minimum requirements in the qualification requirements and requirement specifications, and sets requirements for documented energy mix, climate data and guarantees of origin as needed. Climate and environment are therefore not used as the award criterium. The contracting authority has chosen to use requirements instead of award criteria because this gives a better and more predictable climate effect in the power market, where all suppliers operate in the same Nordic power system and the award criteria do not make a real difference in climate results. This is in accordance with DFØ ́s guideline point 6.1.
