How the award is decided

Price, Quality of service, The contracting authority shall procure software for MWD interpretation and tunnel mapping. The main service is access to and use of software. The contracting authority has assessed the procurement against the Public Procurement Act § 5b third paragraph and the issue of the procurement, in its nature, has an immaterial climate footprint and an immaterial environmental impact. The assessment emphasis is that the delivery is mainly digital. The contract includes some assistance with training, support, calibration and scheduled meetings. This assistance is, however, a subordinate part of the contract compared to the software delivery and it shall, as far as possible, be implemented digitally. Travel activities are therefore expected to be limited. Based on this, the contracting authority considers that the procurement has a climate footprint and an environmental impact that is immaterial. The contracting authority is therefore exempt from the obligation to weight the award criteria climate and environmental considerations with a minimum of 30 percent, cf. The Public Procurement Act § 5b third section.
